Vaccination Centre

The Vaccination Centre runs clinics from the Royal Berkshire Hospital with additional spoke clinics held at Townlands Hospital, West Berkshire Community Hospital and Bracknell Health space.

We provide the following vaccinations, which link to the booking portal:

Covid Vaccinations

Covid spring boosters are available from 1st April 2025 to 17th June for patients who are:

•    Over 75’s
•    Severely immunosuppressed
•    Residents in care homes for the elderly 

Appointments are available to book on our booking portal or contact us to discuss:

•    Children aged 6 months to 4 years old who are severely immunosuppressed are likely to be referred to our services by GP’s.

Please contact us to discuss Covid vaccination for your child if you wish to discuss or arrange.
Year round Covid vaccinations are available for patients who are:

•    6 months post stem cell transplant requiring re-vaccination
•    About to start new treatment causing severe immunosuppression

Please discuss with your specialist nurse or contact us.

RSV Vaccinations

RSV vaccinations in Pregnancy:
•    Patients of our maternity services will be invited by text message to book after 28 weeks.
Booking is available on our RSV vaccine for pregnant women page, with clinics run from all sites .

RSV vaccinations in older adults:
•    We aim to offer vaccinations to patients 75-80 years old, as part of discharge planning for inpatients. We prioritise patients who have had a long admission and being discharged to a care or nursing home

Whooping cough vaccinations (Pertussis)

Whooping cough vaccinations in pregnancy
•    Patients of our maternity services will be invited by text message to book after 20 weeks.

Booking is available on our whooping cough pregnancy vaccination page, with clinics run from all sites.

Flu vaccinations

FLU vaccinations are available seasonally from October to March.

Other vaccinations

The vaccination centre aims to support patients to access any vaccine which there are complexities receiving from GP’s or other services. 

We welcome any patients or relatives to contact us with any issues as we will assist.
