Urology

Our Consultant Urologists and specialist nursing staff offer services for patients with diseases affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive organs. We offer services for both adults and children.

We offer one-stop clinics for the assessment and diagnosis of new patients in Reading, Henley, Bracknell and Newbury.

We run these services through our urology procedures department, Day surgery unit and Hopkins Ward in the Royal Berkshire Hospital. We offer treatment for patients requiring complex abdominal surgery for cancer as well as benign urological related diseases.

If you’re receiving urology care here at the Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust, you may be asked to receive your treatment in a hospital in Oxfordshire or Buckinghamshire if you’re able to travel there. This is to provide you with care more quickly.
