Mereoak park and ride - coming from the South and West. Just south of Junction 11 on the M4 (just off the A33) is the new Mereoak park and ride. Operated on behalf of Reading Borough Council and using buses powered by compressed natural gas (CNG), Mereoak is the environmentally friendly way to get into Reading. If you are travelling to the hospital by car, the main car park (multi storey) is located on Craven Road. Alternative parking is available in pay and display bays in the roads surrounding the hospital and at Queens Road Car Park. There are also park and ride facilities at Mereoak and Winnersh.
Bicycle racks are available near Maternity, Endoscopy, Battle Block, North Block, South Block and near the road entrance of the multi storey car park.
The Royal Berkshire Hospital is built on a hill, and different entrances access different blocks and levels. Please head for the appropriate BLOCK first before looking for the right level.
