Maple Ward

The Trauma Unit on Maple Ward is a 20 bedded trauma and complex orthopaedic ward. The ward has male and female bays. 

Maple Ward cares for patients with urgent injuries and conditions requiring surgery or a hospital stay across all orthopaedic specialties. 

We are a busy ward, with most admissions arriving through the emergency department or clinic on a 7 days a week basis. 

We have open visiting meaning visitors can come at any time of day - although they may be asked to leave during doctors' rounds or if a patient requests additional privacy.
