Eye Day Unit

The Eye Day Unit is a specialist day unit for adult patients requiring planned and emergency ophthalmic (eye) surgery.

You will be asked to arrive before the time of surgery so that the nurses can carry out observations, and complete the admission process before you are taken to theatre. 

Your immediate post-operative recovery may take place on Greenlands Ward. You will remain here where you will be monitored closely until you are well enough to go home.
