Minister for Health visits the Royal Berkshire Hospital

We were pleased to welcome the Minister for Health, Ashley Dalton MP, to the Royal Berkshire Hospital to visit our newly opened Frederick Potts Unit.

The new £17 million facility, the Frederick Potts Unit, is making a big difference in increasing capacity for elective care and reducing waiting lists for patients in Berkshire West.

The Minister for Health toured the new facility and met with clinical and operational teams working in the unit to see firsthand the impact that this space is already having on patient care.

The Frederick Potts Unit officially opened in July 2025.
