Deep Vein Thrombosis Clinic
This is an outpatient service for the diagnosis and treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
You are likely to have been referred to the clinic by your family doctor (GP). Your GP will arrange an appointment time and give you a letter, which you should give to the receptionist when you arrive.
Please allow two hours to be assessed and have tests. If we find that you do have DVT, you will need to stay longer (possibly up to 3 hours).
Please Note: The unit is led by advanced nurse practitioners
