Looking after you and your baby

Maternity

We will be here to support you and provide postnatal care after the birth of your baby. If everything is well with you both, and depending on the type of birth you had, you could be discharged within the first 24 hours.

After you have been discharged from hospital or following a birth at home, you will then be cared for by our community midwife team.
