Chief Midwifery Officer for England visits Maternity Bereavement Team
Kate Brintworth, Chief Midwifery Officer for England and Chris Binnie, bereaved parent and National Maternity Service User, recently visited the Royal Berkshire Hospital to find out more about our maternity bereavement care.
We are extremely proud of the compassionate support our Rainbow Midwives and Bereavement Team give families, and Kate and Chris recognised just how special the service we provide to parents at the most difficult time. They wanted to learn from us, to ensure the same level of service and care is represented in maternity services across the NHS.
