Our preceptorship programme, departmental training and update programme, courses run in conjunction with the University of West London and Henley Business School are focused on building your skills and experience as a midwife and your career development whether that be in clinical practice, education, or leadership and management.

Change of Pace

At Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, you will have the chance to work with and as part of a variety of services across midwifery including continuity of carer, homebirth, birth reflections, diabetic, rainbow care, and vulnerable women’s teams.

As part of a two-year rotation you will spend time working in intrapartum, antenatal, postnatal and community settings – from there you can choose to stay in one area, specialise, or continue to rotate.
