Meet the team

Kate Swift (Head of Medical Workforce)
As the Head of Medical Workforce & Education, Kate overseas operational and strategic running of the medical workforce and medical education team. She is not aligned to a specific care group and operates on a Trustwide basis. She is responsible for oversight of all MHPS, complex Employee Relations, and Medical Education working with the Director of Medical Education and the Chief Medical Officer along with national terms and conditions.

Nicholas Marks (Medical Workforce Adviser)
As Medical Workforce Adviser, Nicholas supports Network Care for employee relations and recruitment and Urgent Care consultant recruitment.
He manages all medical staff recruitment within his designated care groups including trainee doctors on rotation. Supports and advises Trust managers on pay, terms and conditions and employee relation cases. Alongside dealing with any queries from individual doctors within his remit.

Shamika Richardson-Hodge (Trainee Medical Workforce Adviser)
As Trainee Medical Workforce Adviser, Shamika supports Urgent Care non consultant recruitment.
She manages all medical staff recruitment within her designated care group including trainee doctors on rotation, and assists will all internal and external applicants through Patchwork.
