We believe in giving people the chance to experience all areas of their profession, and at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust you will have the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of different areas within Occupational Therapy.
Take the chance to work with innovative Occupational Therapy teams such as our Falls and Frailty Response Service alongside colleagues in South Central Ambulance Service responding to patients who have fallen in the community and completing assessments in people’s home. As well as our Wheelchair Service, Early Supported Discharge Team, and Long Covid clinic.
We give our staff the opportunity to develop their career quickly with Band 5 staff benefiting from a buddy system and competency passport in your first six months.
We also give all our staff access to regular in-service training, opportunities for courses and development, and opportunities to take on additional champion or link roles.
