Here at the Royal Berkshire, we are proud of our record of supporting the career development of our staff. One of the ways in which we do this is through apprenticeships and at any one time there will be around 200 of our staff on accredited apprenticeship programmes. We have a portfolio of both clinical and non - clinical apprenticeships delivered through a range of academic partners available in a variety of areas including:

  • BA Chartered Applied Management and Executive MBA programmes (in partnership with Henley Business School)
  • Physiotherapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Clinical Engineering
  • Healthcare Sciences including Pharmacy, Pathology and Physiology
  • Nursing and Nursing Associates
  • Business Administration
  • Supply Chain Warehouse Operative

During an apprenticeship, 20% of your working time is dedicated to your training. Study may include attendance at classes within an academic setting or may be fully completed within the workplace with the support of a tutor/assessor.

If you are interested in applying for apprenticeship training, please express your interests to your line manager. For further details, contact our Widening Participation Officer
