Your appointment

Referrals and clinics

Your GP must refer you to the Rheumatology Department where you will be seen in an outpatient clinic by one of the consultant teams.

If you are a patient under the care of the rheumatology department and wish to discuss your treatment with one of our specialist nurses you can contact them via their telephone helpline. If you are unwell we would advise you contact your GP who can then seek advice directly from one of the medical team. If you are under the care of the department we can see you in one of our flare or rapid access clinics.
