Radiotherapy   SGRT   2019

This department delivers both outpatient and in patient Radiotherapy treatments. This treatment involves the use of high energy X-ray machines.


Clinic hours: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5pm

How to get here 

The nearest car park is the London Road car park. For patients on regular treatment schedules in Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy the department will issue a car park permit for the length of your treatment. Disabled parking is available on West Drive.

Dr J. Adams: lung, lymphoma, breast
Dr R. Brown: lung, breast
Dr A. Freebairn: head and neck cancers, skin, upper gastrointestinal cancers
Dr J. Gildersleve: bowel cancer, upper gastrointestinal cancers, head and neck cancers, sarcoma
Dr Helen O'Donnell: urology; gynaecological cancers
Dr P. Rogers: urology 
Dr R. Davies - breast, brain and upper gastrointestinal
Dr N. Dallas - head & neck 
Dr M. Bhattacharyya - melanoma, breast and ovarian

The consultants are supported by a team of clinic nurses and healthcare assistants.

The out-patient department also runs a hair loss advisory clinic.

Any other information: There is a Macmillan Cancer Information Point within the main waiting area in the Berkshire Cancer Centre.
