Please wear non restricting clothing. For example no tight sleeves for easy access to dialyse via a fistula. For dialysis via lines, clothes that won’t restrict connection to the machine are preferable. T shirts / button shirts are ideal.
The unit takes infection control very seriously. Please can we ask everyone to use the hand gel provided when entering and leaving the unit. Please call the unit in advance if you have diarrhoea and or vomiting.
The dialysis staff will try and match your appointment time, however, please be patient if there are delays beyond our control such as emergencies, machine breakdowns and transport delays.
Blood results: Dialysis patients are able access their own blood results via PatientView. Please ask dialysis staff for more information.
