Couples who do not conceive after one year of trying are entitled to be referred to the clinic by their GP for infertility investigations.
Our clinics are busy and patients can therefore experience some delays. This is due to patients having further investigations, for example ultrasound scans.
The department is closed on public holidays and weekends
Monday 8:00 – 15:00
Tuesday 8:00 – 15:00
Wednesday 8:00 – 15:00
Thursday - Closed
Friday 8:00 – 15:00
The Nurse Advice Line is available on 0118 322 7286 and is open from 8:00 – 13:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Please note that you and your partner must attend your first appointment together so that you can both sign a consent form. If you do not both attend your first appointment together this could result in a delay to your treatment.
Please be aware that patients who are not legally ordinarily resident, or do not have the correct immigration VISA, including those that have paid the NHS surcharge (Immigration Health Surcharge) with the British Residence Permit; may not be covered for assisted fertility treatment under a law change in August 2017. Please contact the Overseas Department at the hospital by e-mail on firstname.lastname@example.org for further clarification before proceeding with any appointments in connection with assisted conception within the Fertility Department.
