Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac Rehabilitation Service is a professionally supervised programme that aims to help improve the health and well-being of people who have heart conditions.

  • Claire Gray – Cardiac Rehab Coordinator

We can help you recover from an acute cardiac event or heart failure with our menu based cardiac rehabilitation programme.

Conditions we can help manage:

  • Myocardial Infarction
  • Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
  • Coronary Artery Bypass Graft
  • Valve Replacement or Repair
  • Heart Failure
  • Internal Convertible Defibrillator insertion

We may be able to help with other conditions too. Please speak to your consultant or a nurse about this.

Accessing our service:

You’ll be referred into our service by a healthcare professional during your stay in hospital.

If you’ve had heart problems while outside of Berkshire, your GP can also refer you.
