Trauma Orthopaedic Unit

Due to Covid-19, from Monday 30 March, we will no longer be running the orthopaedic fracture clinic and plaster room service from the Royal Berkshire Hospital site.
This service will be run either through virtual appointments or from West Berkshire Hospital.

The Trauma Orthopaedic Unit specialises in caring for emergency trauma patients, and is a single-sex ward which cares for female patients only. The ward also has some side rooms.

These will be allocated according to clinical need and in exceptional circumstances may be used for male patients.
