Royal Berks Charity are White Stuff Reading’s chosen charity partner and recently received a donation of over £1,500.
Part of White Stuff’s vision is to partner every shop with a small charity in the local area. Over the last five years staff from White Stuff, Reading have supported the Royal Berks Charity, and with the help from their customers have now successfully raised several thousand pounds for the children’s wards at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Staff regularly hold fundraising events in store including: ‘Pop the balloon’ - a favourite amongst customers, lucky dip for children, cake bake sales, ‘Best Dog in Reading’ competition and their ever popular sweet shop.
Sam Hardy, Manager at White Stuff said: “Supporting our local charities is really important to us at White Stuff and we are delighted to be raising money for such a fantastic cause. It has been wonderful coming together as a local community and we look forward to even more fundraising events in the future”.
