Enhanced Recovery

Enhanced Recovery Programme (ERP) is helping patients to get better sooner after surgery.

It has been shown that by altering how patients are managed, both before and after surgery, they can be safely discharged home earlier.

The Programme also encourages patients and their families to be fully involved in their treatment, care and recovery, along with the health professionals looking after them.
