Temporary changes to RBH visiting arrangements

We are seeing high numbers of people with Flu, Covid and respiratory problems and, to ensure everyone stays safe and to prevent the spread of the viruses, we have introduced some temporary changes to visiting arrangements at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.

For the time being, we are limiting visitors to two per patient per day and these should be next of kin, care partners or carers only (siblings are able to visit in maternity).

Please do not visit if you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of Covid, colds, flu and other respiratory infections or vomiting and diarrhoea.

Visitors must wear a mask in clinical areas and we are recommending masks are worn in other areas of the hospital.

Please talk to the matron or ward manager for more advice. A-Z list of RBH wards.

Visiting stays as normal for patients with dementia and learning disabilities, and end of life patients. And visiting arrangements in Maternity are unchanged for now.
