Privacy Policy
If you would like to register to borrow books from the library please first read the library membership and KnowledgeShare privacy policy notice available from the link on the right before completing and returning the SWIMS registration form. If you register with the Library you agree to your data being held in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (2018) for use in the library system shared by NHS libraries in the South West, Thames Valley and Wessex and within other library management systems as required to provide inter-library loans, literature searches and current awareness services requested by you.
Finding the Evidence workshops
These workshops are delivered by the Trust Librarians and are aimed at all RBFT staff with an interest in searching the journal literature to support them in their professional studies, CPD and evidence-based practice.
Attending the workshop will give you the tools to plan and execute an effective search strategy using the Healthcare Databases to identify journal articles and other types of information.

Mobile Apps
BMJ Best Practice is available as an app. You need to create a personal account then download the app from your Apple or Google Play store.
BNF & BNFc Apps are available for mobile devices produced by NICE. Free to NHS staff throughout England - log in using NHS OpenAthens - can be downloaded from Apple iTunes or Google Android Marketplace.
UpToDate is available as an app. You need to create a personal account then download the app from your Apple or Google Play store.
