Young patients at Royal Berkshire Hospital will be receiving some tasty chocolate treats this Easter thanks to the generosity of local store GAP.
Staff across the company donated the eggs which were delivered by Reading Store Manager, Sophie Paul and colleague Jackie Davis, Senior Sales.
Play specialist, Claire Ryman welcomed Sophie and Jackie and said: “The children were very excited by the donation of the eggs which will be shared among the patients who are with us over the Easter period. We would like to thank everyone at GAP for their very kind gesture.
“Being in hospital at this time of the year is difficult for youngsters and this certainly brought a smile to their faces and will bring delight to many over Easter.”
Sophie said: “As a company we believe in giving back to our local communities and we are delighted to be able to support Royal Berks children’s wards.
“We acknowledge all the very hard work that is undertaken by the doctors and nurses on this ward, and it brings us all joy to know that we can help put a smile on the children’s faces at a time that can be very difficult for them and their families.”
