We’re pleased to announce that the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust has appointed Dominic Hardy to the role of Chief Operating Officer. Dominic will join the Trust in the late autumn from NHS England and Improvement where he is National Director of Primary Care and System Transformation. Dominic will be taking over from Mary Sherry who will remain with us until late October.
Dominic’s previous roles within the NHS include Director of Commissioning Operations for Wessex, and Regional Assurance and Delivery Director. Prior to that, he worked in the South of England and South Central Strategic Health Authority.
Before the NHS, Dominic worked in central government in a range of roles including NHS Next Stage Review Project Director at the Department of Health and Social Care, Principal Private Secretary to John Reid and Patricia Hewitt, and policy advisor to Tony Blair. He also worked at Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
