Lorraine Colam, hospital chaplain at The Royal Berkshire Hospital was delighted to welcome students and staff from Leighton Park School who sang carols for patients, visitors and staff around the hospital.
Reverend Lorraine Colam, said: “It was so lovely to see the amazing effect the singing had on the patients, particularly as Christmas can be a difficult time of year to be in hospital.
“It was when so many hospital staff and patients joined in the singing, especially those on our stroke unit.
“The students at Leighton Park School felt it was important to spread some Christmas cheer in the run up to the festive period, and their singing certainly put smiles on patients throughout the hospital.”
