Have your say on Reading Council’s Adult Wellbeing Position Statement 2016-17
The Care Act gives Reading Council new responsibilities towards those who may need care or support, and their Adult Wellbeing Position Statement describes how they will fulfil these new responsibilities. Individual wellbeing is affected by a range of factors, and this statement recognises the impact of the places where we live, work and play as well as our health and social care provision.
Reading Council has published Reading's first Adult Wellbeing Position Statement, a framework for developing services to meet Care Act obligations and so prevent, reduce and delay care and support needs across the local population.
Their Position Statement can be viewed in detail: Adult Wellbeing Position Statement – Draft for consultation and will be accompanied by a high-level implementation plan for 2016-17, which will be refreshed in subsequent years and incorporated into their broader health plans.
