How we run our service

We operate as a multi-disciplinary team where consultants, doctors and others including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, specialist nurses, and rheumatology practitioners work together with administrative staff to achieve the best possible outcomes.

We warmly welcome those patients who wish to be well informed about their conditions and play a key role in their own care team. Many of our doctors and some of our other staff members are involved in research into various areas of arthritis and we have strong links with Oxford and Reading University. This is good for patients as it keeps us at the forefront of developments into arthritis care and management.

We are proud but never complacent of our department. Our objective is continuous improvement in the care we offer to you our patients.

How can I be seen in the Rheumatology Department?
