Kempton Day Bed Unit

On this Unit we treat children from the ages of one day to 16. Day surgery, investigations such as blood tests and specialist treatments such as blood transfusions are all carried out here.

We are based on Level 3, Centre Block at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, London Road, Reading, RG1 5AN. Our telephone number is 0118 322 7383 or 7512.

What should I bring?

If you are under five please bring your red book. We have a wide range of toys, games, crafts, books and DVDs to occupy you during your stay. You might meet one of our play leaders during your stay.

Please bring details of any medications that you are taking. You will probably need to continue taking them whilst you are here. You can also bring your favourite drinks/snacks especially if you have any special dietary requirements.
