Sleep Unit

A clinic for outpatients with sleep problems.

 

Clinics

Referrals are taken from GPs and other hospital Consultants for patients with suspected sleep problems.

Consultant sleep clinics are held on Thursday mornings at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and alternate Wednesdays at West Berkshire Community Hospital. 

Nurse-led clinics are held each week day except Bank Holidays. 

Staff details

Susan Keeble is responsible for the day to day running of the Sleep Unit assisted by Carol Clark and Trisha Vince.

Please switch off all mobile phones 

New patients:

  • No preparation is necessary.  It is helpful to bring your sleep partner to the appointment 

Existing patients:  

  • Please bring all equipment that has been issued to you for sleep purposes
  • Please ensure your mask is cleaned regularly
  • If a humidifier has been issued, please ensure it is emptied prior to bringing it to your appointment 

 For any problems with equipment, please call to arrange an appointment
