Marsh Ward

Welcome to Marsh Ward.  We look after postnatal women and their babies, plus outpatient postnatal women whose babies are still on Buscot Ward.

 

Visiting

Ward visiting hours:  08.00 - 21.00 (partner/supporter and siblings only

Open visiting:  14.00 - 21.00 (no children under 16 years of age other than siblings please

Number of visitors allowed:  Partner and two visitors per bed 

How to get here

Park in multi-storey car park in Craven Road. From multi-storey car park either walk along Craven Road to Maternity Unit or exit car park on Level 2 and follow signs to Maternity Unit. Take lift or stairs in Maternity Unit to Level 4.

Any other information

Minimal storage available on ward, pack for overnight – two day stay, partners can always bring in extra things for you! Marsh is a very busy ward with a very quick turnover and patient discharge may sometimes be delayed if there are women in labour.

Nearby facilities

There is a patient kitchen available with drinks available 24 hours and vending machines by the lifts on level 2. Patients may bring in their own food and take-aways if they wish.
