When you arrive, please go to the reception desk on level 1 or 2 where a member of staff will book you in and let you know where you need to wait.
Please note that some scans and procedures require preparation - your appointment letter will tell you how to prepare. Be sure to read through the entire letter which will tell you key details about how to prepare.
For procedures please note the following:
At times the department can be very busy, and if this is the case, appointment times may run late. Sometimes it may seem as though others are being called in before you, but this is likely to be due to the nature of their examination. Please speak to a member of staff who will be able to keep you up to date with any delays.
Outpatient appointments usually run between 0800 to 1700, but some services may operate outside of these hours. Please refer to your appointment letter and bring this with you on the day of your appointment.
Please note that some appointments may be scheduled for week day evenings as well as on Saturdays and Sundays.
You must have a referral form/card from your doctor to attend these services. Remember to bring this with you, as you will not be able to have an X-ray without a referral form.
