You can visit at any time. No information is given to anyone other than parents, in person or by phone. Two visitors are allowed at the cot-side, one of which must be a parent. Family room for others to wait. Siblings may visit as long as they have not been in contact with infectious diseases or have bad coughs and colds.
From the multi-storey car park either walk along Craven Road to Maternity Unit or exit the car park on Level 2 and follow signs to Maternity Unit. Take lift or stairs in Maternity Unit to Level 6.

No flowers please. Small soft toys are permitted in cots or incubators. No helium balloons as oxygen is in use.
Facility for parents to make drinks in family room. Cold water dispenser on Unit. Maternity Unit has a shop selling baby clothes etc. sweets and biscuits.
A League of Friends is shop on the 2nd floor (ground) of the Maternity Unit, open Mon to Fri: 8.30am until 5.30pm and Sat to Sun: 10am until 4pm.
BIBS is a registered charity that supports babies and their families in Buscot Special Care Baby Unit. The group visits Buscot Ward every Wednesday at 8pm to meet parents and carers and to offer help and support.
BIBS also sponsors an NCT post natal practitioner with two 3hr sessions per week on the ward to support parents. Further details can be found in the family room.
