We are delighted to be have been chosen

as one of the official charities for the 2012
Reading Half Marathon.
Last year over 100 runners made it over
the finishing line on behalf of the Royal Berks Charity. In 2012 we
are aiming to double the number of runners and raise in excess of
£60,000 which we’ll use to help enhance services at the Royal
Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.
The Royal Berks Charity’s sole mission is to improve and enhance
facilities at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. The money
our runners raise helps purchase equipment and provide additional
services above and beyond what can be achieved using the NHS budget
alone.
Registration
If you would like to help support your local hospital and keep
it at the forefront of clinical care we would be pleased to hear
from you. A registration fee of £20 will be required to secure your
place in the 2012 Reading Half Marathon. We are seeking a minimum
amount of £300 sponsorship per runner. You can contact us by
telephone or e-mail using the contact details at the top of the
page. Royal Berks Charity T-Shirts will be provided for all our
runners so let us know what size you require when you register.

Support
The money you raise will be put to good use enhancing patient
care in the Trust and our community. Should you wish to support a
particular ward, department, or raise funds for a particular piece
of equipment please discuss this with us.
The race
Make sure you have done your training in the run up to Sunday
1st April and we look forward to welcoming you at the Madejski
Stadium.
