What you can expect and what you must do:
The Trust recognises that you have
rights. The Trust recognises that you have responsibilities
to:
- listen carefully to advice on your treatment
and medication
- tell the doctor about any treatments you are
already taking
- ask a member of staff caring for you to
explain further if there is any part of your condition or care that
you do not understand or are worried about
- treat our staff, fellow patients and visitors
politely, and with respect. We will not accept violence, racial,
sexual or verbal harassment
- tell us of any changes to your personal
circumstances such as a change of address or
your doctor
- not smoke in the buildings or in the grounds
of the hospital
- ask a member of staff before using a mobile
phone.
