The Prince Charles Eye Casualty Unit will be closed on Saturday 19 May

Patients needing urgent eye casualty should call NHS 111 or access services at:  

  • Eye Casualty, Royal Berkshire Hospital
  • Slough walk-in centre, Upton Hospital
  • Wexham Park Hospital A&E
  • Minor Injuries Department St Marks Hospital, Maidenhead
  • Bracknell Healthspace, Brants Bridge, Bracknell

In addition, a temporary Urgent Care Centre will operate from King Edward VII Hospital, The clinic will be open from 4pm to 10pm on Friday 18 May 2018 and 8am to 8pm on Saturday 19 May

The Prince Charles Eye Unit based in Windsor is a service for patients needing eye casualty.

Opening hours for eye casualty at Prince Charles Eye Unit, Windsor

Monday - Friday 9am – 5pm
Saturday 9am – 12.30pm

Emergency eye care is also available via the on-call ophthalmologist at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust on 0118 322 5111 including Bank Holidays.

Patients may also use minor injury services at:

  • Slough walk-in centre, Upton Hospital
  • Wexham Park Hospital A&E
  • Minor Injuries Department St Marks Hospital, Maidenhead or Bracknell Healthspace, Brants Bridge, Bracknell
