Welcome to the consultant directory for
the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. We hope that the
directory will help you when referring patients to our Trust.
We aim to meet the highest possible
clinical standards. We are fortunate that the calibre of our
consultants is exceptionally high.
Many of our services have changed over the last few years. Many
of our surgeons now handle most of the day case hand surgery for
Berkshire and are working to become a centre of excellence, while
others are using the latest robotic technology to deliver minimally
invasive surgery offering speedier recovery.
Our aim is to translate cutting edge research into care and
services that deliver real benefit to our patients.
Our consultants are also leading the way in delivering new
services such as the fast track TIA and stroke pathways and primary
angioplasty.
Our Trust enjoys a very effective partnership between
consultants and managers. As well as ensuring clinical excellence
our consultants are instrumental in improving patient access to
services and cutting waiting times.
