What is GP Gateway?

The GP Gateway provides access to on-line pathology test reports, radiology reports, discharge letters and other Trust systems. It is accessed by a secure log-in and password.

How to access GP Gateway

You can apply for access to the GP Gateway online via the GP Gateway Homepage. You will need to complete an online application form.




Pathology reports

GP initiated pathology reports are transmitted via GP Gateway to your GP Clinical System. 

All reports, whether initiated by GP or Hospital are available via Webpath (hosted on GP Gateway) using the patient search function.

Pathology handbook

The handbook is a guide to all the laboratory services including phlebotomy and post mortem, and includes information on specimen containers, consumable supplies, reference ranges and special precautions for certain tests.




Electronic discharge
letters

Inpatient and daycase discharge letters are available via the GP Gateway. Please e-mail alan.dunlop-walters@royalberkshire.nhs.uk if you wish to activate this service.

Online discussions and referrals

Referrals for Cancer 2 week, open access hernia, open access cholecystectomy and Rapid Access Chest Pain can be made via the GP Gateway.

Secure patient clinical discussions with Consultants are available for neurology, rheumatology, endocrinology and paediatrics.




Hospital internal telephone directory

A searchable database of our internal telephone directory is available on the GP Gateway Homepage.  A login is not required to access this service.

Radiology reports

GP and Consultant initiated Radiology reports are available via Webpath (hosted on GP Gateway) using the patient search function.
