Targets, Aims and Objectives

The Trust's strategic objectives are:

  • more services, closer to home: providing more services in more places, closer to home, for more people
  • investing in success: keeping our services in the top 10% nationally
  • sharing and listening: making sure that people know what we do, and why we are the best
  • working together: bringing together key providers to form a modern healthcare system
  • exceeding expectations: exceeding customers and patients' expectations

Clinical governance

Clinical governance is a framework for organisations and staff to support the delivery of high quality care.  For detailed information see Clinical Governance section.

Healthcare Commission – annual check

In 2009 the Healthcare Commission's annual health check rated the Trust as:

  • EXCELLENT for its use of resources
  • GOOD for the quality of services

Audit reports

The Trust's Audit reports are included in the Trust's Annual Report which is located in our Our Performance section.

Service user surveys

From time to time, the Trust undertakes patient surveys from our Patient Relations Team.
