Mr Peter Malone has been a Consultant

Urological Surgeon at the Royal Berkshire
Hospital for over 20 years. He is also an Honorary Consultant at
University College London Hospital.
He trained at University College London,
St George’s Hospital and the Institute of Urology where he was
awarded the Bard medal which is the highest award made to a surgeon
in training by the British Association of Urological Surgeons.
He has a national and international reputation
as a surgeon. He has received a national clinical excellence award
and has recently been elected a corresponding member of the German
Association of Urology.
He has been active in research forging links
with Cancer Research UK in Oxford and the University of Reading and
is widely published. He is a past Chairman of the British Prostate
Group, has sat on several national committees to establish
guidelines for the treatment of prostate cancer and has examined
for the General Medical Council.
He has six years experience as a Clinical
Director of Urology and General Surgery.
He has been married for over 30 years with two
grown up children. He attempts to play tennis, ski and sail and has
supported Reading Football Club through the peaks and troughs of
three divisions.
