Janet Rutherford was Director of Social Services for the
former Berkshire County Council. She later became Director of
Policy and Research at the Local Government Association.
Until being appointed an interim non-executive at the Royal
Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust Janet was Vice Chair at NHS
Berkshire. Previously she served as a non-executive director with
the Thames Valley Strategic Health Authority.
Janet joined the Trust in August 2012. She lives near
Hungerford with her family
